Vibia’s Dots collection won Interior Design’s Best of the Year award for the Sconces category. The magazine’s prestigious annual awards recognize the most significant work of the year from architects, designers, and manufacturers around the world.
A diminutive wall sconce delivers an outsized impact in the Dots collection by Martín Azúa. Its circular forms seamlessly connect a space with an intimate landscape of beams and halos, creating a melody of light like musical notes in concert with one another.
The Dots wall luminaires provide personalised lighting solutions in four styles: A graphic, directional lamp, a reading light, and two versions of ambient lamps.
Africa table lamp was selected as an honoree for the table lamp category.
Designed by Francisco Gomez Paz, the Africa collection combines cultural significance, richness of form and materiality, and high performance lighting capabilities. Defined by a slender, conical stem that leads to a neat head, the luminaire invites you to reach out and grasp it.
Available in two sizes, Africa portable lamp’s lacquered matte texture and four natural tones bring warmth and tangibility to the design. Its chargeable LED light source provides three levels of intensity which are controlled by a simple push button at the head.
The Class collection by Sebastian Herkner was also honored as finalists in the Outdoor Lighting category.
Combining the refined aesthetic of a floor lamp with the functional performance of a bollard, Class consists of a robust aluminium shaft and fluted cylindrical glass diffuser, which bathes the surrounding space in a gentle glow.
Class is available as a wall sconce or floor lamp of various heights and with a choice of individual or double asymmetrical diffusers.
Dots, Africa and Class are coming soon for the US and Canada.
