Palma Ceiling: A New Dimension

Vibia adds a new edition to the Palma collection. A central shaft extends vertically from the ceiling, adorned with a choice of two or four spherical diffusers. Positioned at different heights and angles they form a natural, elemental structure, projecting warm, diffuse light in all directions.

Palma is an extensive collection designed by Antoni Arola, each fixture consisting of hand-blown glass spheres united by a robust aluminium support.

A neat, circular component secures the latest member to the surface of the ceiling, the vertical line of its aluminium shaft balanced by the horizontal line of various protruding spheres.

The density and gravitational direction of the linear shaft contrasts with the opulent glow of the spheres orbiting its central axis, enhancing their apparent weightlessness.

Each sphere fits snugly into a circular support that extends perpendicular to the shaft. With no visible joins between the metal ring and the curve of each orb, the result is ethereal, like planets suspended in space.

Available in a cosmopolitan graphite or soft beige, Palma pairs naturally with an elegant contemporary aesthetic. Dimming control allows the user to set the perfect mood, creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, no matter what the occasion.
