One Year of Array: Making an Icon

First unveiled at Euroluce 2023, Array has quickly become one of Vibia’s most iconic collections. An inaugural collaboration between Vibia and designer Umut Yamac, the collection manipulates layers of technically-processed thread between two aluminium rings to form majestic three-dimensional volumes. The interplay of light and thread transforms perceptions of weight and depth, offering a unique spatial experience.

In just one year, Array has soared to bestseller status, earning multiple prestigious awards for its groundbreaking design.

Selected through a peer-to-peer voting system, the collection was honored in the Decorative Kit category at the 2023 Darc Awards. The awards received over 370 submissions and 11,000 votes.
The internationalFRAME Awards honored Array with the title Winner of the Year 2024. Judged by a panel of global experts, the awards honor creativity, functionality, and sustainability.
Premios Interiores selected Array for Best Lighting Collection 2024, recognizing its ability to transform spaces and evoke sensations through innovative and artistic design.
Array was selected winner at the 2024 Archiproducts Design Awards. Judged by leading figures in Architecture and Design, the winning entries stood out for excellence in creativity, technology and research.
